Email (webmail)
How to create a team email account, read and search messages, write, reply and forward, organize by folders and create API keys, and what does not work yet for external addresses.
Mail is Axuz’s webmail. Each person can have one or more email accounts on the installation’s domain (for example name@axuz.club), read and written from the browser.
Create an account
- Open Manage accounts in the sidebar (or My email accounts in the user menu). The Email accounts page lists My accounts.
- Under New account, enter the Email (placeholder
nome@axuz.club), an optional Display name and, if you want, the Signature (HTML). - Click Create account. With no email, the screen says “Email required”.
The account creation page is still labeled in Portuguese (Contas de email, Nova conta, Criar conta). With no account at all, the inbox asks you to create one under Accounts, and the folder list stays empty (“No folders. Create an account.”).
Read and search
Each account has the folders Inbox, Sent, Drafts, Archive, Spam and Trash, plus custom folders. The inbox offers the Unread only filter and the Search messages box. Search runs across all your mailboxes by relevance, not just the open folder; if you have more mailboxes than the search limit, the screen warns that the list may be incomplete. When a new message arrives, the “New email from …” notice appears without reloading.
If the list fails to load, the screen warns that this does not mean the mailbox is empty: try again before concluding there are no messages.
Write, reply and forward
- Click New message.
- Choose the account in From and fill in To; use Cc and Bcc if needed. To add a recipient, type the address and confirm; the x removes it.
- Write the Subject and the message, and click Send, or Save draft to continue later (the message goes to Drafts).
When you open a conversation you have Reply, Reply all, Forward, Archive and Delete. The reply already carries the quote On {date}, {person} wrote:. Delete moves the message to Trash, and it can be restored within 30 days. Attachments appear in the Attachments section, with their size. Common validations: “Select a sending account” and “Add at least one recipient”.
API keys
Under API keys (side menu) you create keys to send and query email from code. Enter a Name (for example “Financer webhook”), the Rate limit (req/min) and, optionally, From permitidos (the senders the key may use, separated by commas), and click Criar chave. The key appears once; copy it. Authentication uses the X-Axuz-API-Key header (or Authorization: Bearer) against https://mail.axuz.club/v1, and going over the limit returns 429 rate_limit. Revogar (revoke) immediately stops every integration using that key. The same external-sending restrictions described above apply. The keys page is labeled in Portuguese.
