Calendar
How to create events and calendars, repeat events with recurrence, invite members and outside guests, track responses (RSVP), set reminders and attach a video room.
Calendar is the team’s agenda and your personal agenda. It opens in four views, Month, Week, Day and Agenda (a list of the next 30 days), and shows the events of every calendar you ticked under My calendars. In Personal mode, the agenda gathers the events of all your teams and your personal calendars.
Create an event
- Click + New event.
- Fill in Title (for example “Meeting with client”), choose the Calendar, and set Start and End. Tick All day if there is no time.
- Optionally enter Location (a room or a link) and Description.
- Click Save.
Each event stores the timezone it was created in; if you are in another timezone, the form warns you (“created in …; you’re in …”). Recurring events keep their time in that timezone even across daylight saving changes. In the Day and Week views you drag an event to reschedule it and pull its edge to resize it (the minimum duration is 15 minutes). All-day events and events that cross midnight cannot be dragged or resized, and an event that comes from a team can only be edited in the team’s calendar.
Recurrence
In the Recurrence field (Repeat) choose Does not repeat, Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Yearly or Custom. In custom mode you write an RFC 5545 rule, such as FREQ=WEEKLY;BYDAY=MO,WE or FREQ=MONTHLY;BYMONTHDAY=15.
When you edit or delete an event that repeats, Axuz asks for the scope: Only this occurrence (creates an exception and keeps the other dates), This and all future (ends or changes the series from that day, preserving the past) or The whole series. Modified occurrences get their own mark on the agenda.
Invite participants and respond
Save the event first: before that, the Participants section says “Save the event before inviting participants”. Then type an email (or a user ID) and press Enter or comma. Anyone matching a team member appears as Workspace member; the rest become External guest. Send invite email controls whether the person receives the message.
Each participant has a state: Pending, Accepted, Declined or Tentative. Invited people see Your response with Accept, Decline and Maybe. The quick-response links of an invitation (accept, decline or maybe) work without login, are signed and expire; on click, the person lands on a confirmation page (“Attendance confirmed”, “Attendance declined” or “Maybe recorded”) and the organizer is notified. Clicking the same link again just rewrites the response.
Reminders
In the Reminders section add alerts such as 15 min before, 30 min before, 1h before, 2h before, 1 day before, 2 days before or a custom value in minutes. Today only the In-app kind works; Email and Push are marked “soon”. Personal calendars also have an Email reminder before the start, which applies to the whole series.
Calendars
Under Calendars, create colored calendars with Name, Color, Scope (Personal (only me) or Current team) and Visibility (Private, Visible to team or Public). Deleting a calendar erases all its events, after a confirmation. Under Integrations, the Bills to pay option shows Financer due dates on the calendar, with the bill forecast marked “expected”.
Video room on the event
Inside the event, Create video room generates a Meet room and Join room opens the call. The Guest link (no account needed) lets people in without an account.
