First steps
From sign-up to your first channel and task — create an account, sign in, create or join a team and invite people.
This walkthrough takes you from a brand-new account to a working team with one channel and one task. Button and menu names are the ones shown in the English interface.
1. Create your account
Open the sign-in page (auth.axuz.club in production) and click Create account. Fill in Name, Email and Password, then confirm the password. The password needs 12 or more characters, with a letter and a number; passwords that have appeared in known breaches are rejected. After Create account, Axuz emails you a confirmation link. Click it to activate the account. If the message does not arrive, use Didn’t get it? Resend and check your spam folder.
You can also use Create account with Google or Create account with GitHub. If an Axuz account already exists for the e-mail of that provider, sign-up is refused: sign in to the existing account and link the provider under Security.
2. Sign in
Under Sign in, enter e-mail and password. A correct password is only the first factor: Axuz opens the Two-step verification screen and asks for a second factor (passkey, authenticator app or e-mail code). If you have a passkey you can click Sign in with passkey and skip typing the password. Forgot your password? Use Forgot my password.
3. Create your first team
Someone who has just signed up and does not belong to any company lands on Bem-vindo ao Axuz (the onboarding screen, shown in Portuguese). Enter the company name and the first team name and submit the form (Criar empresa e equipe). You become the owner of the team. In the hub (hub.axuz.club) the same path appears as Create workspace when you do not have one yet.
To create more teams later, use Create team in the sidebar team switcher. The dialog asks for Team name (3 to 50 characters) and optionally identifier, timezone and language. If the identifier is already taken, adjust the name.
4. Join an existing team
Got an invitation by e-mail? Open the link and sign in with the account whose e-mail received the invitation — an invitation is valid only for the address it was sent to, and it answers with an error if you are signed in with a different account. On accepting, the team becomes your active team. Invitations expire after 14 days.
5. Invite members
An owner or admin opens Settings > Members, enters the e-mail, picks the role (Member, Guest, Admin or Owner) and clicks the send-invite button. Only an owner can invite another owner or admin. The pending invitations list lets you resend (a new link is generated) or revoke. The workspace can restrict accepted e-mail domains under Company admin > Session policy. Roles are explained in Roles and permissions.
To give access to one specific channel, open the channel and click Invite: the dialog generates a link with a usage limit, an expiry date and an access scope (chat, tasks, files, wiki).
6. Create your first channel
In the sidebar, under Channels, use Create channel and type the name (for example general). New channels are private by default: only the creator, invited people and the team’s owners and admins can open them. The channel opens with the tabs Chat, Tasks, Files, Wiki and Settings.
7. Create your first task
Inside the channel, open Tasks. Create a column (dialog New column, button Create column, with names such as To Do, Doing and Done) and use the add-task button: enter Title, description, Column, Priority (Urgent, High, Normal, Low) and Due date. The same tasks can be viewed as Kanban, Table, Timeline or Calendar. To jot something down without leaving the screen, the Quick add dialog creates a Task or a Note.
