Notes and wiki
How to use personal notes (with Markdown, checklists, version history and trash) and each channel's wiki, the team's shared knowledge base.
There are two places to keep text in Axuz, and they have different owners. Notes are yours, live in Personal mode and belong to no team. The wiki belongs to a channel and is visible to everyone with access to it. Choose by asking “who needs to read this?”.
Personal notes
Switch to Personal mode (an option in the team switcher) and open Notes in the sidebar.
- Click New note. If you have no notes yet, the screen shows “You don’t have any notes yet”.
- Type the title (“Note title”) and the body (“Start writing…”). There is no save button: the note saves itself as you type, and the indicator shows Saving…, Saved or “Save failed — retrying…”.
- Switch between Editor and Preview to see the result. The text supports Markdown and task lists with
- [ ].
Pinned notes (the Pin button) move up to the Pinned section; the rest stay under Other. Drag by the handle to reorder. You can select several notes and use the bulk actions: Pin, Unpin, Move to trash and Restore.
Version history
Every change to a note creates a version. In Version history, select a version to compare it, side by side, with the current note and use Restore to go back to it. Restoring destroys nothing: the state before the restore also becomes a version. The note page also has a Comments section, where you can add annotations and delete them.
Trash
Deleting moves the note to the Trash, and the screen offers Undo right away. Items stay there for 30 days and are then removed for good. Inside the trash there is search, Select all, Restore selected and Delete permanently, which asks you to type DELETE to confirm (in the Portuguese interface, APAGAR). Permanent deletion cannot be undone.
Note templates
Under Note templates you create reusable templates (name, description and content). In the content, {{date}} becomes the date (YYYY-MM-DD) and {{name}} becomes the note name. Templates marked Built-in come from the system and cannot be edited.
Channel wiki
Open the channel and click the Wiki tab. If there are no pages yet, the screen says “No wiki pages yet” and offers Create your first wiki page.
- Click to create a page, enter the Page title (for example
Onboarding) and confirm with Create. - Pick the page from the list on the left. The page opens for reading, with the time of the last update.
- Click Editar (Edit), write in Markdown and use Salvar (Save).
- Excluir (Delete) removes the page, after a confirmation.
Pages belong to the channel: anyone who can open the channel’s Wiki tab (see roles and permissions) sees them and, with write permission, changes them. Guests only see the wiki if their scope includes the Wiki module. The wiki buttons are still labeled in Portuguese in the interface.
